General Pricing Information
Deposits
Dimpleknowe Mill: A £100 non-returnable deposit per week booked is payable at time of booking. The balance should be paid 4 weeks before your holiday begins.
Dimpleknowe Cottage: A £100 non-returnable deposit per week booked is payable at time of booking. The balance should be paid 4 weeks before your holiday begins.
In the case of a cancellation after the balance has been paid, I will refund the balance only if I can re-let the property for the period of your booking. If I am unable to let the property, the balance will be non returnable.
Letting Period
The normal weekly letting period for both properties is from 4pm Saturday to 10am the following Saturday.
From June 27th 2014 the weekly letting period for Dimpleknowe Cottage will be 4pm Friday to 10am the following Friday.
Payment
We accept payment by cheque or you can pay online using a credit/debit card or Paypal. Note that a Paypal account is not required if using Paypal - payments can also be made using a credit or debit card. Please make all cheques payable to Mrs Jane Cameron.
Heating and hot water (Dimpleknowe Mill only)
Electricty IS NOT included in the price, but meter readings are recorded on arrival and on departure, so that you only pay for what you use. Generally, a £20 per week allowance of gas (for the central heating and hot water) is included in the price - this should be more than enough for most visitors, as the cottage has an energy efficient condensing boiler. If however you go over this allowance, you will be charged at cost. Please note that for the summer season - 29th June to 31st August, and for short breaks at any time of the year, the heating allowance is reduced to £15 per week.
Other
We STRONGLY advise that you take out holiday cancellation insurance to cover yourself in case unforseen circumstances force you to cancel your stay. Low cost cancellation insurance for visitors from within the UK is available from Schofields Cancellation Insurance.

Dimpleknowe Mill Prices (sleeps up to 6)
All prices below are based on a one week let of the property. Prices vary depending on party size & the number of rooms required. Contact us to discuss your requirements.
Standard weeks run from Saturday to Saturday. This can sometimes be flexible, so please enquire.
We also offer short breaks (e.g. Monday - Friday or Friday - Monday) in low season. Contact us for more details on this.
Further discounts are also available for parties of just one couple.
Gas heating and hot water allowance - 31st May to 30th August: £15 per week. From 30th August onwards: £20 per week. Visitors generally find this amount adequate.
Free wifi is included in all prices.
Linen provided. Towels are an extra £6 per set to hire.

Dimpleknowe Cottage Prices (sleeps up to 5)
All prices below are based on a one week let of the cottage.
1 or 2 well behaved dogs are welcome in Dimpleknowe Cottage at a rate of £20 per dog/week.
