Booking Terms & Conditions

Dimpleknowe Mill Terms & Conditions

The weekly letting period is from 4pm Saturday to 10am the following Saturday.

A £100 non-returnable deposit per week booked is payable at time of booking. The balance should be paid 4 weeks before your holiday begins. We DO NOT send out reminders for this and if the balance is not received on time we will assume you are cancelling your booking and we reserve the right to re-let the property.

In the case of a cancellation after the balance has been paid, I will refund the balance only if I can re-let the property for the period of your booking. If I am unable to let the property, the balance will be non returnable.

Electricty IS NOT included in the price, but meter readings are recorded on arrival and on departure, so that you only pay for what you use. Generally, a £20 per week allowance of gas (for the central heating and hot water) is included in the price - this should be more than enough for most visitors, as the cottage has an energy efficient condensing boiler. If however you go over this allowance, you will be charged at cost. Please note that for the summer season - 29th June to 31st August, and for short breaks at any time of the year, the heating allowance is reduced to £15 per week.

Wi-Fi Broadband access is available in the Mill free of charge. However we cannot be held responsible for any failure of the service which is outwith our control, nor can we provide technical support to get your computer connected to it. Instructions are provided for connecting PC's runnning Windows XP & Vista to the service.

The maximum occupancy for the property is 6 persons, with the exception of a baby which will be sleeping in the cot. I would appreciate no more than 6 visitors at any one time. Also, we are sorry, but the property is unsuitable for children under the age of 8 years old.

Pets are not permitted in Dimpleknowe Mill.
